• Information regarding The Getaway 3 is released on the 7th of March by screenplay writer Katie Ellwood, who affirms the action title is still in the works. No estimated release date is given, however.
• Ellwood reports that Sony executives are making deals with film companies about the possibility of a future film adaptation of The Getaway 3.
• The Getaway 3 is reported as being cancelled on the 4th of June along with Eight Days.
